WHO ARE WE?

We provide general transcription services for a wide variety of clients outside of the legal and medical sectors. Our clients include those in the academic, media, psychiatry, government, technology and finance sectors, just to name a few. The owner is a seasoned transcriptionist, who has worked for several transcription services, as well as private parties.

WHY CHOOSE US?

While a strong mastery of English mechanics and a fast typing speed are important in transcription, freelance writers and editors aren’t necessarily good transcriptionists. We here at Stellar Transcripts understand that it takes a genuinely “good ear” to accurately capture the nuances and complexities of casual speech.

The owner does all the proofreading of transcripts and participates in much of the transcription herself, so you will always receive a uniform product and direct communication from the owner. You also have the advantage of a service that can draw upon a small pool of reliable subcontractors to provide a greater volume of work in a shorter period of time than any single transcriptionist. We are a one-stop shop! Avoid hiring multiple contractors to get the work done!

Work Terms

BULK RATES OFFERED TO ALL GURU CLIENTS:

$1.25/audio minute: one voice
$1.50/audio minute: two voices
$1.75/audio minute: three voices
$2.00/audio minute: four+ voices

GURU PAYMENT TERMS:

Flat rate/fixed rate only: per audio minute (hourly will be changed to flat rate/fixed rate job terms or total billable minutes X 1 working hour)
