I am a freelance 3D artist looking to help bring people's ideas to a visual reality. I primarily focus on architectural visualization and environment modeling.

My name is Stephen Harrington, and I am an Illinois based VFX and Environment Artist. Born and raised in Tinley Park, I spent my early years watching far too many sci-fi monster movies like Godzilla and Gamera. Perhaps this is what planted the seed deep in the back of my mind to pursue a career in the creative industry.

Since graduating, I worked a little bit over a year at RM Design Studio in Bartlett, Illinois doing photo-realistic interior and exterior architectural renders. Currently I am a freelance 3D artist working to build upon my skills and creative processes. ?Projects include modeling expo designs, large printing machinery, product, office spaces, conference centers, etc.

As an artist, nothing makes me feel quite as exhilarated as when ideas transition from the mind to reality. Whether it be as insignificant as a small prop, a dynamic and impressive maelstrom of particles and light, or as immense as an entire landscape that feels alive with possibilities- getting to use my skills and creativity for a living to turn imagination into reality is a dream I am glad to be living in.

Work Terms

I am available to work from 8pm to 6pm every day of the week. While I prefer to be paid hourly, I am open to one flat sum depending on the project. I am comfortable discussing projects both over phone or through email.
