Hello Everyone,
I started my IT career in 2011 as I wanted do something that was not only a challenge to me, but also had revolving changes. I knew that I wanted it to be in IT as technology has always fascinated me and because it wasn't going to go anywhere except grow in the future.

I started at the helpdesk doing password resets for an internal company and quickly moved into providing user support for applications and then into desktop support within the same organization. I still didn't feel challenged enough which lead me to work for an MSP for over 5 years where I learned a lot more about businesses, infrastructure and networking.

With the role of a Systems Administrator at the MSP, I was able to grow my knowledge of many different systems including hypervisors and small business networking. I had to make a decision at this point on where I wanted to hone skills and chose to pursue infrastructure as my passion. I worked with the businesses to understand their needs and help develop a strategic plan for them and then execute. I wanted to grow my skills again within a single organization and learn more about enterprise business and move from small business.

Moved into a new role as IT Systems Engineer and here I have learned how to administer multiple enterprise hypervisors such as VMware and Nutanix and all that it takes to keep large business functioning with high availability. This position allowed me to work directly with the business needs and help to design, architect and grow the business from an IT perspective in all aspects.
