Steve Bargdill received his bachelor's in English with an emphasis in creative writing from the University of Iowa December 2012. He received his master of arts in English with a graduate minor in American Indian Studies May 2015. Originally from Ohio, he has lived in Dayton, Columbus, Troy, St. Marys, and New Knoxville as well as West Branch, Iowa; Lincoln, Nebraska; and Muncie, Indiana. Bargdill has done everything from truck driving to pizza delivery, journalism and convenience store clerking. His father taught him discipline and the value of hard work by forcing him to stance thousands of feet of lumber. Bargdill is currently an indie author. He has worked as a freshman composition instructor, web designer, and writing consultant. He has a passion for education, creative writing, and web design. He believes literature weaves through our everyday lives and that stories explain who we are as a society.
