Work Terms

Design process

(30% payment to start)

1. Ideation:
* Concept Generation (sketch form: 6 designs) - The client will choose 1 design to move forward with and the designer would make modifications based on the client's feedback.

2. Concept development
* Designer will present 1-2 modified designs based on client’s feedback in a computer generated drawing form for the final approval

3. Concept finalization
* Once the design is finalized, the designer will propose 6-8 different colored renderings.

(40% payment)

4. Technical Package for the factory development: Manufacturer will start building the shoes based on the technical packages.
* Upper shell pattern development package
* Outsole tooling drawing development package
* Color specifications

(30% payment after tech pack hand offs)

5. After we receive the first samples
*Product Finalisation : (1-2 round of sample revisions until the salesman sample)
*Upper pattern refinement
*Tooling detailing refinement

Because of the nature of my work, I'd prefer to communicate through email so that I can keep track of all the feedback and comments from the clients.
