Hi! I'm Steve L, a freelance film and video game composer. I'm here to offer my writing, recording, and guitar playing skills for your future products!

I heavily concern myself with the foundational concepts and integral vision of a piece of music equally as much as the technical assets or techniques required to achieve the final product of an innovative and effective score. Because of this, the major strength of my music relies heavily on the infant stages of composition process. Specifically, it is essential that there is a solid, collaborative meeting with the team to brainstorm and pinpoint an idea or creative direction. Generally, the rest of the composition process is spontaneous and flows naturally and quickly if that direction is established, as I believe the overarching force behind every great score is to grant it a clearly unique voice. In my opinion, that voice is best achieved through the combined creative relationship between both the clients/team and the composer.
