I am a freelance estimator which enables and frees me to be an international disaster volunteer.

I worked my way up to an engineer job title in the aerospace industry starting as a machinist and then again in the construction industry starting as a laborer. I reached the point of working as an expert witness construction management consultant writing reports and testifying in a second language and with great success and proudly with just my high school education.

I'm passionate about my work and find equal satisfaction working for free as a volunteer, as a laborer or as COO.

I have been billing my work at the rate of $125/hr since 2004 in the surety litigation support industry. Now as a traveling freelance estimator, I generally charge from $35-60/hr depending on the responsibilities, etc. as a 1099 which I find to be a wonderful trade-off.

Work Terms

I work from a home office and am completely flexible as needed.
