‘Scribbler-In-Chief’ to a raft of agencies in both UK and overseas , Steve has almost 30 years’ experience developing engaging, evocative - occasionally even award-winning – copy for companies of (almost) every size and stripe; from the complex (IT, pharmaceuticals, legal and financial services) to the quotidian (food, logistics, travel and leisure).
But despite being “older than God’s dog”, he strives to remain if not ‘ahead of’ then at least ‘atop’ the content marketing curve – combining proven marketing and communications principles with the very latest social media, search, digital print, email and analytics tools and techniques to drive more, and more profitable, revenues for his clients.

More likely however, being ‘a hack of a certain age’, he would take the opportunity of a willing audience to highlight “the quadripartite evils threatening the English language today”: namely, self-aggrandising jargon, text speak, emoticons and the ubiquitous and inaccurate use of the word ‘awesome’.
