I help with companies who are seeking to find or build a solution, such as web applications or a mobile App for example, or business management systems such as CRM.

I solve business problems through identifying systems and software solutions, and help to bridge the gap between companies seeking solutions and software development companies who might develop the solution. I have twenty-plus years of full software development life-cycle experience, delivering quality software projects to demanding timescales and budgets.

In specific terms, the service that I provide is to spend time with a company seeking a software solution, understanding what is being sought and why, along with the company philosophy and the environment that it must fit within. I can then write this up to provide a brief or a full requirements specification for potential vendors that provides the following information in a language that business people AND software vendors can understand: -

- Introduction to your company and the relevant products and services you provide
- Description of the existing systems that are in place to the appropriate level
- Overview of the data to be captured, and the workflow of data and processes that are required at each stage
- Definition of the requirements in enough depth for a development company (or an in-house team) to provide a proposal or to evaluate the systems that may be available at the time.
