I am a writer, producer, dancer, artist, web content manager, playwright, and human.
I run a dance and theater company, offering family dance and multi-cultural dance and theater productions and workshops worldwide. I have written numerous plays, novels and short stories, many in the realm of gay themes and science fiction themes. I have worked as a producer, stage manager, actor and writer in the theater for over forty years. I am well skilled in web content management, after working for the City of Seattle for twenty years, as one of the web managers for Seattle.gov. I am passionate about work that creates community and public benefits, and shares human culture between countries and people. I went to public school in San Diego, undergrad at UC Berkeley (Dramatic Arts) and grad at UCLA (Playwriting and Teacher's Assistant). I am extremely well-read in many topics. I practice yoga, qigong, breakdance, Zambrano's Flying Low and Passing Through, Feldenkrais and various somatic release techniques. I began teaching family dance classes in 2016, focusing on groovy modern and hip hop with families of all ages. I produced the dance theater play 'Seattle' by Adrian Vasquez in Xalapa, Veracruz and Seattle, WA in April of 2016, with another weekend of the show in late September in Aguascalientes, Mexico, and a five week run coming up in Seattle in April/May 2018. Meanwhile, I seek freelance writing, editing and web content management work.
