I am a solo practitioner looking to expand my client base. I have over 9 years’ experience helping business owners clean and maintain their business books and try to make filing their taxes as easy as possible. I have a master's degree in accountancy, QuickBooks ProAdvisor since 2012 with experience in Desktop and Online versions.
Helping other business owners take a step back and see where they currently are in their business and help them map out where they want to be.
Piece of Mind Bookkeeping is a play on the phrases "peace of mind" and "piece of a business," and this is how I see what and how I can help other people with their desired outcomes. The result of a business is different for everyone, and the excitement a person has by seeing the results of their labor is extremely rewarding to me. I try to learn new systems and methods to improve my performance for my clients, and by doing so I experience the constantly changing world of business. Every new client is a new challenge and experience.
My processes for achieving the desired results of my clients may be similar, but as the needs are different so are the types of processes that need to be adjusted or focused on to improve my customer's experience with working with Piece of Mind Bookkeeping. We use QuickBooks Online so business owners can see their finances anytime without the need to ask for documents. I offer some training business owners on how to read their financial statements, and if they choose to produce their own ledgers. I also provide monthly oversight to reconcile and prepare period end journal entries. Each owner is different regarding their bookkeeping needs, and we are here to help with as little or as much as a business owner needs. The goal for Piece of Mind Bookkeeping is to provide business owners with the sense that they are not alone, and we are here to help with keeping their business books current and readily available.
Work Terms
I work remotely for my current and new clients. I offer fixed pricing for most of my projects, and hourly rates depending on the needs of the client.
