Always committed to give my personal best in all the jobs I'm involved in.
I'm a Physics Teacher in a High School in Savona.
Before moving to the educational public system, I was a system engineer with almost 20 years of experience in providing technical solutions, requirement analysis, software development and technical documentation both at the operator and vendor side. This provided me with a exceptional flexibility, making me able to technically excel in any step of my career, most of the time leading me to become the head of R&D projects.
During my career I was involved also in developing software projects, in particular, as an example, a location service application based on Android app in remote devices and a control center developed in HTML/CSS/javascript for the localization of devices based on WiFi signal strength. In this context I gathered a good knowledge of JavaEE SDK environment (based on Eclipse, git and Maven on a Linux platform). In previous project I worked also in projects involving C/C++ and C#.
My collaborative attitude helped me to work satisfatorily in teams, both as a team leader and as a team member. In particular, in almost all the positions I held, I had to interact with foreign people, from USA, UK, France, Germany, India, China, Israel and Qatar. As an example, when working with Alcatel-Lucent, I attended weekly multinational call-conferences.
I graduated in Electronic Engineering (Telecommunication specialization) at the University of Genoa in 1994 with a 110/110 cum laude grade and I was the course leader in the Leghorn Naval Academy (500 graduated naval officers attended the course).
In my spare time I like very much to stay aligned on the new technological evolution, in particular in terms of computer science. I currently have accounts in github, heroku, rhcloud, bitbucket, testdroid, etc... I also developed a new website for a tennis club and an Android application for a ski club.
Excellent spoken and written English.
