SEO Content Writer and Social Media Management

For the past four years I have created content for various websites. Every piece of content involves in-depth planning, research and preparation, ensuring all the information I provide is accurate and up to date.

To improve the quality of my created content, I recently completed a course on SEO Content Writing. This has allowed me to develop my knowledge and implementation of keyword research while gaining a greater understanding of customer intent to create more appealing content. I consistently follow-up any created content by monitoring its performance through search engines, Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

To attract a wider audience, I have explored a range of marketing strategies, such as subscriber lists and sending regular newsletters. Managing several social media accounts is another arm of my marketing approach. This requires me to create relevant content for each platform, in both written and visual formats. Prior to uploading any content, I go through a rigorous video editing procedure and format any photos to suit the needs of the channel.

Running and designing websites with WordPress has taught me how to create more than just content. My skillset includes organising the web site layout while creating a consistent style that works alongside some minor coding.

Writing for a range of sources has given me experience of working to strict deadlines, structures and guidelines that aren’t my own. This has helped me to develop as a writer and push myself to see what I’m capable of while following different formats for each post and source.

Communication has always played a significant role in my day-to-day responsibilities, both verbally and in writing. I can work autonomously whilst remaining an integral member of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team. I have high competency in IT, including MS Office.
