I am a professional engineer (license number AL30968) with a broad background in multiple fields including traditional mechanical and electrical engineering. I have a Ph.D. in aeronautical engineering and I have worked as an industrial R&D engineer, naval engineer, and government aerospace research engineer. I currently teach engineering part time but my hobby is consumer product and private R&D design work. I specialize in design analysis and prototype of new concepts.

Work Terms

I can devote up to 25 hours/week to new product R&D. My rate is $50/hour for analysis and design work. Most projects can be reviewed in about and hour to check to make sure that that we aren't going to break any of the laws of physics and verify the producibillity of the concept.
For start-ups with really cool ideas that I would enjoy working on, I am willing to come onboard as a minor partner for about 2.5% interest.
