With 14 years oil & gas and engineering technical writing and 15 years teaching writing, I enhance writing deliverables: policies, procedures, training manuals, work instructions, and forms, specializing in HSE, EPC, and heavy mechanical/electronic equipment. Also, my writing background includes curriculum/training, white papers, newsletters, profiles, and proposals, as well as B2B and B2C direct-mail marketing campaigns, ghost writing, grant writing, and scripting and creating montage video spots for training, web sites, and blogs.

Building relationships from the shop floor to the executive conference room and working with all levels of subject matter experts is my strong suit. As a team player, project leader, and independent writer, my commitment to excellence has led to cross-training in internal and vendor auditing for ISO 9001:2008 and 2015 certifications, 5S, and API Q1 and Q2 development. Additionally I have management's support and encouragement to continue pursuit of an MBA and obtain certification in Oil & Gas Safety and Health.

Previous experience includes medical certification, terminology, and bio-science editing.

Work Terms

Work hourly, or at agreed upon fee with one draft and one edit included. Currently accepting new clients for Fall and Winter 2021-2022.
