I am a textile and surface designer based in Andalusien, Spain but I can work remote or as freelance.
I would like to express my interest to work in your brand as textile designer by submitting this letter and resume. Over the past three years I’ve worked as a print and pattern designer in my own firm “Susan Pinto”, www.susanpinto.es, and I have experience as fashion print designer by my background in my own fashion design enterprise “ Solitas” which taught me many secrets of the trade. I use to organize a Fashion Festival called “South36.32n” in Cádiz. This has helped provide me with the training and skills needed to fill this position and become a value member of your team.
Some of the academic training and skills I’ve acquired throughout the years are summarized below:
I have studied the AVA CAD / CAM specialist design & colour software, I taught
this course in Manchester, England where I got a good knowledge of AVA design and
colouring software. I am able to travel when necessary, I have “people skills’
and the ability to work well as part of a team and to establish warm
relationships with customers.
I have language skills, I have been living in Germany for 6 years, and I studied
French and English.
I have a passion for pattern, creating and designing prints.I love painting portraits and murals.
Work Terms
My typical hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. However, I am open to discussing flexible schedules depending on the project's needs and timeline.
I require a 50% deposit upfront before starting any project, with the remainder due upon completion of the work. Payment can be made through electronic transfer or other mutually agreed-upon methods.
I prefer to communicate via email or video conferencing, such as Zoom or Skype. However, I am also available for phone calls and in-person meetings, depending on the project's nature and requirements.
• For larger projects or ongoing work, I may require a signed contract outlining the scope of work, timelines, and payment terms.
I reserve the right to display the project in my portfolio or on my website for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon.
In case of cancellations, I require a minimum of 48 hours notice, and any work completed up to that point will be invoiced accordingly.
