Hi I’m Sydney

I am a graphic designer with over 5 years experience in print and digital design.

I grew up on BC’s Sunshine Coast as an avid reader and book lover. I moved to Victoria to get a degree in English from the University of Victoria. It was there I discovered my love of graphic design through a few computer science electives and group projects (I couldn’t code but I could make it look good!).

Through much trial and error, I taught myself how to use the top graphic design software, Adobe Suite. With this knowledge I went to Simon Fraser University and received my Master’s in Publishing. It was there that I was able to dig into my passion for book covers and print design, and get a deeper understanding advertising, branding, production, and more. Design, whether it’s a business card or a website update or a book layout, helps business-owners to communicate with their clients.

After a few years of working in design departments in a variety of industries (museums, magazines, marketing, etc.) I decided to start my own design business. In doing so I am able to work one-on-one with business-owners to create modern, lasting designs that work for their businesses. Since then I have been lucky enough to work with some great people to help them design logos, ads, websites, pamphlets, business cards, event invitations, and more.
