A Symphony of Cello

I'm Rochana, a musician - cellist based in Sri Lanka. I've being freelancing in the local classical and popular music scenario since 2009. I want to stretch my hands to the musicians all over the world representing a diversity of cultures, art inheritance, languages, concepts and approaches. What makes me love Guru is that it has made it boundlessly possible to meet new musicians, collaborate, share ideas and appreciate each other. This amazing platform is not mere business to me at all. *Orchestral style (multiple sectional parts)

You can expect me to
*Play your written out cello parts
*Arrange the cello parts myself
*Improvise cello solos

Nonetheless, I'm open and excited to mix world music and oriental music, particularly Indian - South Asian together with your musical ideas and brings out something quite fresh and original, barely tried out previously on cello!
