I've been working with computers since I was a child, back when BBS were a thing, and HTML was all tag soup and tables. I love to learn how things work, and to find ways to make things work better.
I've been working at my current company for 7 years, starting with Linux Systems Administration, and now working as Research and Development. I've recently been enjoying automating workflows with CI/CD and container orchestration. I love what I do. However, I'm always looking to learn and to use what I learn to help others, and to expose myself to new challenges.
Work Terms
I'm typically available evenings on weekdays, and sometimes on Saturday. I prefer direct SSH access for systems tasks, but I'm willing to accept other arrangements as long as you understand they will take longer. However, for coding support or even most consulting, you may just need to give me a list of your requirements, or let me do my work on my end and send it to you. I'm usually very happy to explain my work to help show the why and how of the solutions I provide.
