I originally started building websites in 1997 when the Air Force took my family across the country (and world). I was looking for a way to keep family at home updated on my children's newest feats and growth and wanted to be able to share pictures easily. A friend told me that she was building a website for herself and pointed me in the right direction. After building my family website, other friends wanted me to be build one for them, then small business wanted their spot online as well. Back then, Dreamweaver was only availble for Macs and Frontpage was very new and not that great. I found it easier to handcode HTML then make the editors do what I wanted! As life twisted and turned, I got more and more involved with website development and started to learn CSS, PHP and other technologies as they came out. I was excited to start using CMS's and stop having to reinvent the wheel everytime I built a new site - plus it offered my clients the ability to make small updates themselves if they wished.
I love interacting with my clients and working with them to help them develop their online plans and carry their business online and reach their market. I enjoy the teamwork involved and also enjoy learning about all of the various industries as well!
My sites are not works of art, but simple, no-nonsense, clean design with purpose. My goal is to help my clients grow and develop their business in order to reach their own goals. I use my experience and skills to make that happen. I have a lot of tools in my toolbox and am excited at the prospect of working with new clients!
