Integrity, skill, hard work and determination takes Ideas and turns them into Realities
I have had the enjoyable experience of working as a freelancer for the past seven years. I have the experience working as a copywriter, doing graphic design, as a voiceover artist, and as a Spanish to English translator.
Growing up in the Midwest gave me the unique opportunity to learn and appreciate the value of hard work, fair trade, and providing a customer with a quality job. These are skills that have stuck with me throughout my life , and they have served as a guiding light for me.
After finishing high school, I attended a two-year degree program for graphic design. There I learned the principles of graphic design as well as attaining a basic understanding of programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and CorelDRAW.
My interest in voiceover work began as a child who was fascinated with the voices used in Saturday cartoons. From there I began listening to and emulating voiceover artist from documentaries, advertisements, and audiobooks. From there I was able to improve my skills with the help of professional voiceover training programs. All this helped me develop a voice that is rich, deep, bold, and flexible enough to meet the needs of a wide range of clients.
Currently, I’m living and working as a volunteer in parts of Central America. My time here has helped me to hone my Spanish skills as it has allowed me to immerse myself in the language, here it spoken by individuals from various countries, and strengthen my grasp on the techniques of translation.
