Level-headed editing

Words. What are they good for? Almost everything! Words can inspire, but incorrectly presented, they can alienate your audience. You have interesting things to share, and I want to help you get your word across, whether you are an experienced writer and just need another set of eyes, or your writing skills are not the best.

I'm a native English speaker with real-world editing experience. The bulk of my experience is in technical editing for legal documents and software. I have also edited a self-help book, resumes, websites, and articles for submission. I have taken a course in Technical Editing.

I will find those sneaky little problems that your spell check won't find. There's a big difference between a bear neck and a bare neck.

I am also interested in editing non-fiction work.

Work Terms

9-5 PST, flexible during tight deadlines.

I'm proficient in MS Word with track changes. If you like, I can work with you as a reviewer to go "back and forth" on a document. I can also use hard copy markup.

I can be paid in which ever way is standard.

I prefer to communicate by email until a job is accepted. I will send you my Skype info if you select me.

A casual communication style is totally fine!
