Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard
I've been working a full-time job for the past 20 years in multiple organizations as in my linkedIn profile here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tareksalah/
However, my passion has been always to become a freelancer . So from 2015, I've been on a track to redefine my skills set, starting from learning Java, Android Development, and Web Development, which was very useful in my current work to build personally the websites for each of the initiative I'm responsible off at my current job.
After that I took many courses in game development on Udemy and VR nanodegree from Udacity, and became certified Unity Developer in 2017. I developed some Apps on Oculus VR platform and published them on the store , and I'm still getting financial returns from those buying. https://www.oculus.com/experiences/rift/1823521471059200/
Currently, I'm expanding my skills even more into Data Science. Took some courses in Machine and Deep learning, python, Data Analysis and wrangling. and my intent of this profile is to gradually build my self as a professional Data Analyst freelancer. It's a continuous quest for myself and a challenge that keeps me wake up every morning to successfully achieve.
For my educational background, I'm graduated from faculty of electronics and electrical communications, Cairo University, in 1999 Egypt and finished my a Masters degree in Management of Technology from Nile University in 2009, Egypt.
For the past 5 years, I've been heading the Technology Management Department at the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center in Egypt, where I'm responsible for managing large national and international capability development initiatives that target more than 120,000+ Young Youth to equip them with advanced skills in emerging technologies in ICT. Before that, I was an Innovation manager at the Arab Science and Technology Foundation, responsible for similar initiatives also across the Arab Region.
Work Terms
Hours of Operation: 30 hours per week
Payment Terms: Usually 25% installment in advance, then instalment after each defined milestone delivery
