I believe that the secret to a successful translation is having a thorough understanding of the source text and knowing how to convey its essence in a way that sounds natural to the reader, as if it were originally written in his or her language. For this reason, every text is either translated or proofread by a native speaker of the target language, and whenever possible, a native speaker of the source language is also involved in the process as either a translator or proofreader.
