I am a Fashion Professional with over 15 years of experience in Sourcing, Production and Vendor management.Working as a buyer and Operation Manager with USA Clients

Some of the responsibilities include
• Handle multiple accounts independently. Interact with the buyers/buying houses, lead a team of subordinates, sampling, vendor department, internal & external co-ordination, ensure timely shipments, etc
• Responsible for prices and finalizing the orders.
• Will lead the product/style development and merchandising department.
• Will resolve all technical issues during the development stage to ensure smooth execution.

• Evaluate the cost for the new developments which include fixing the prices with suppliers of fabric, accessories, trims, prints and embroideries and then work out the costs to offer to the buyers.
Communicate with the buyer for day-to-day updates and approvals at different stages of production.

• Maintain budgeting and Manpower planning, Strategic and technical planning and implementation, Social and Technical compliance for buying houses, Inventory control management and maintaining logistics.
Communication and coordination with buyers.

• Strict Quality control and insistence on higher quality standards
• Handling accounts of various customers like Blair Corporation, Mecca, General Sports, Knights Apparel, Family Dollars, TSI, Jamatex
• Working with the Compliance team to ensure that Customer compliance requirements are met such as Target, Sears, and VF.Kmart, Walmart etc
