Five years experience providing quality transcription and data entry services. I've had long-term employment with transcription companies in the past (references can be provided) but I've found that I prefer dealing with clients directly as it allows more flexibility in my schedule and offers new and exciting projects.Past projects completed for Harvard Business School, Texas State University, Sydney Writers' Centre in Australia, Stacey Barr and many others. Court reporting experience with Georgia Labor Board.I have experience with multiple speakers, foreign accents, etc.I research terminology that I am unsure of. I strive for 100% accuracy.I understand why confidentiality is very important to my clients. NDAs are provided for all clients; you can rest assured that the contents of your project will not be sold or shared with any future employer or client.

Work Terms

Potential transcription clients: Minimum rate per transcription is $75 per audio hour. Non-US based clients, or poor audio quality, will result in higher hourly fee (to be discussed before project starts). Payment terms: New clients will be expected to fund an escrow account for estimated project cost, or for one week of services (if work is to be ongoing). A release of escrow will be requested at the end of the project (or weekly, if applicable), once the client has a chance to review submitted work. Invoicing is acceptable once a working relationship has been established. For new clients escrow protects both parties' interest and is my preferred way to establish a long-term working relationship.
