I served 12 years in the military as an administrative supervisor. I was a customer relations lead representative, I handled pay, performed data entry, researched manuals and publications, in addition to writing correspondences, making travel arrangements and maintaining records. I have advanced knowledge in software and web applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and Wordpress.
I have a Master's Degree in Journalism and a Bachelor's in Business (Music Management). I previously owned a Wordpress blog, which focused on social issues. I have also produced and edited videos and audio podcasting, and I am proficient in videography, photography and photojournalism.
In addition, I understand how to market, promote, advertise, manage and create music content, as well as negotiate contracts, write business plans and biographies, and have knowledge in business technology and e-commerce. I was a booking administrator for a prominent Christian Hip-Hop label, where I managed artists’ calendars and booked concerts.
Lastly, I was a social media specialist for an independent record label. There, I created social media content, engaged and interacted with fans, managed the label’s social media presence and designed social media page layouts.
