Joomla Development Professional
When I first entered the I.T. field I began my career as a PC repair technician working for a small company in my home town. After several months I was promoted to the position of Corporate Build Manager and was responsible for building and configuring all new computer systems and servers sold by the company. Over the next few years as my skills developed I began expanding my capabilities by learning about network infrastructures and network administration.
For the first four years of my career I spent the majority of my time filling the roles of a repair technician, tech support representative, and junior network administrator. Scattered throughout the beginning of my career I also found positions as a project manager, technical writer, corporate trainer, and installations team leader for a telecommunications company. As the years passed I was promoted to multiple management level positions with various companies in the I.T. field as well which included department director and senior network administrator. Eight years into my career I decided that computer hardware and networking was not enough of a challenge to meet my personal goals and keep me interested in pursuing my career path. In 2008 I decided to try my luck with development, specifically web application and site development. Finally, after years of searching, I found the path I should have been on from the beginning. Since 2008 I have honed my development skills and have started to branch out into mobile application development to complement my other capabilities. To date I have published several Joomla CMS extensions which you can find more information about on my Joomla Extensions Directory page. I currently have clients all around the globe that depend on my extensions for their website to function properly, and to set them apart from their competition.
Work Terms
I work virtually 24/7 to meet project goals when needed. PayPal is my primary method of Payment but can consider other methods based on the amount and project. Generally project milestones are due in 1/3 increments, Project Start, Project Launch, and Project Completion. Each project is different and presents different challenges. I am flexible in my scheduling and billing where appropriate.
My fee schedule is setup so that I am comparable to any other developer, however I refuse to undercut my worth and I do not believe in compromising work quality to meet a weak budget. You do pay for what you get and with me you ONLY get the best quality.
