Tom Fisher currently holds the position of Vice President at JDC Consultancy where he writes business plans and creates financial statements. Tom served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years as an Information Manager. During this time, he developed electronic forms and technical publications for the Air Force Flight Test Center in California. He was also responsible for reconciling government contracts, assisting the budgeting office and received extensive training in Total Quality Management (TQM).
After leaving the Air Force, Tom continued his career with a couple of large publicly traded corporations as a Division Controller (Waste Management, Inc. and Affiliated Computer Services/Xerox, Inc.) In addition to his role in management accounting, Tom was instrumental in designing work flow procedures and updating accounting procedures to comply with the new Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) guidelines.
Tom graduated from University of Phoenix with a Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2001. Tom also serves as the Director of Training at American National University, where he currently teaches courses in business management, accounting, marketing and economics. Tom has been successfully writing business plans and providing consulting services for small businesses for over ten years and feels the best way to stimulate the economy is to help small business owners create new ventures, therefore creating new job opportunities.
Work Terms
I have a flexible schedule and work with clients on an individual basis. I do require 50% of payment in advance and the other 50% upon delivery of the first draft.
