I’m Michelle Ramsay, freelance fashion designer and consultant with over 15 years experience in the fashion industry.
I work with fashion brands both large and small, and over the past few years have specialised in working with fashion start-ups.

Working as a freelance fashion designer and consultant is the best role I've ever had, and I am unashamedly proud to admit I really do love my job!
I have a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the fashion industry, from design, through to sampling and production.

Having worked with manufacturers worldwide I understand how to translate a raw idea into a technical format that can easily be manufactured.

My approach is friendly and professional, so whether you already know your way around a tech pack, or need full guidance, you know you are in capable hands.

My customer base is worldwide and from all walks of life and levels of experience within the industry.
I work with established brands who need fresh input into their ranges, or an extra pair of hands in their design team, and I can fit into an existing brand's design handwriting.

On the flipside, I specialise in working with clients who have no experience in the fashion industry. People who's fashion start-up is often their side project, and need an expert to guide them from concept design to product production.

In 2013 I founded the design studio following an established senior-level career in the fashion industry.
Prior to this, I worked for many famous high street brands, creating commercial, trend-led ranges for multi-million-pound accounts.
As a senior level designer in multi-product fashion design, I worked in womenswear, menswear, childrenswear and accessory design.
Over the years there isn't much product I've not designed or become an expert in, and my vast experience is utilised every day.
