Providing polished proofreading at a pleasing price
My keen attention to detail, strong knowledge of spelling and grammar, organizational skills, time management, and adherence to deadlines promote myself as an excellent candidate.
My experience includes writing and publishing a master’s thesis for which I conducted an evaluation of a hospice program. This involved interviewing, recording, and transcribing multiple stakeholder’s experiences in the program. Throughout my master’s work, I not only successfully produced and edited multiple essays and papers, but also worked as a graduate teaching assistant, editing conference posters and other publications in collaboration with faculty.
More recently I have volunteered to proofread for Project Gutenberg, whose mission is to bring older, out-of-copyright books back into the hands of readers. I have also been a homeschool teacher for the past two years, which encourages me to be on the top of my proofreading game when guiding my students in their writing.
If you are looking for a smart, accurate, dedicated, and responsive proofreader with a keen eye for your next project, look no further than The Proficient Proofreader.
