I am a Houdini FX artist, holding an MA in Digital Effects from Bournemouth University, where I graduated with Distinction, complemented by a BSc in Computer Science. My professional journey includes impactful roles as a Houdini artist for esteemed entities such as Groove Jones, Be Grizzlee, Apple Inc., and Alkemy X, contributing to the latest Walking Dead shows and Mrs. Davis.
Throughout my involvement in diverse projects, my unwavering commitment has been to elevate my work to the pinnacle of excellence, leveraging the available technology.
My portfolio extends to collaborations with major international corporations, including AT&T, NBC, Toyota, and Intel. Within these ventures, I specialized in crafting photorealistic FX for various mediums, including VR and AR experiences and games. Additionally, my proficiency extends to creating 3D assets, environments, textures, animations, simulations, and other facets of the VFX pipeline. While my primary tools are Houdini and Nuke, I possess extensive experience with Unreal Engine, Blender, Maya, After Effects, PFTrack, and various other software applications. In the realm of render engines, I am adept with Mantra, Octane, and Cycles, and I bring substantial expertise in Redshift, V-Ray, and Arnold.
Drawing on my IT background, I am well-versed in scripting using Python, C++, and C#, and I am proficient in operating Linux/Unix-based systems. My comprehensive skill set and dedication position me as a versatile and accomplished professional in the field of FX artistry.
