Love to travel, read history and attend Broadway theater.
I love Boston, MA and journey there whenever I get the chance. The reason for this fascination is simple: Boston is where it all began… the founding of the country, the rebellion against England–in essence the story of all human beings. New beginnings, new hopes and new dreams are what Boston represents to me. It is also my desire that one day I might be able to live around the Boston area, perhaps Salam–another town with strong historical roots
I have a bachelor in history, an associate in multimedia and am a travel and tourism specialist.
Now on a personal note: I have a slight case of Asperger’s. The disorder is a forgetful member of the autism family. In other words, Asperger’s tend to be like the uncle that everyone forgets about. The reason is because the latter is less severe than it’s distant cousin.
With Asperger’s, the person is able to hold a job and is usually highly intelligent. He/she however does lack the social graces needed in this ever so social world. I feel at time blessed by this disorder. A line from a “Christmas Carol” by Tiny Tim: “When people see me, they might be reminded of who made lame beggars walk and the blind to see.” It’s a classic line that I have always loved. In fact, one Christmas after seeing the play my brother said to me…”We know all about you Tiny Tom.”
Even though life hasn’t always been easy I have learned and discovered to be contented, happy and at peace with myself.
