Paralegal w/over 7 years civil litigation experience
Beginning in February 2011, I was self-employed as a Guardian ad litem (GAL) for the New York City Civil Court, Housing Part, and then, beginning in the fall of 2012, I was a GAL for the New York City Housing Authority. As such, I was appointed by judges to advocate for the rights of disabled persons during summary proceedings and administrative hearings, so they could preserve their housing. Consequently, I prepared for those proceedings by consulting with attorneys, formulating a defense and/or counterclaims, gathering evidence, preparing witnesses, and, ultimately, presenting cases before judges.
Work Terms
I available for projects Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., my fee is negotiable.
