Hi there, I'm a professional illustrator / animator / storyboard artist who's worked on projects for Nickelodeon, Netflix, Dreamworks TV, ABC, BBC and more in my 13 years of employment.

In my career, I have been employed in multiple departments, companies, job types, and creative styles, and in each role I not only met each creative challenge, but exceeded them. A number of promotions and lead roles have been given to me once studios see my work and the way I interact within a team, and I believe that my attitude of ‘plussing’ is a big part of that.

I constantly push myself to grow in my skills - every year I self-evaluate my work, and I am always pleased to see that I am gaining new skills or becoming quicker, and always better. I read heaps about how to draw, I watch other professionals and become inspired, I not only listen to feedback, but I take it on board and try to not make the same mistakes again and again. I’m not happy with just ‘getting a job done’, and have the attitude that whatever I do should be making the project better. And I believe and encourage that if everyone has this attitude, then we can create something awesome together.

I’ve worked with studios like Nickelodeon, DreamWorks, Netflix, Mattel, ABC, BBC, and Screen Australia/NSW.

I have a high standard of draftsmanship, which I hope is immediately visible from looking through my portfolio. I take care to make each line count, to make my black and white linework have depth, weight and motion. I have learnt to give character and posing to all my drawings, and have a great understanding of composition and aesthetics. I can apply tones and colours to my drawings, and have a solid understanding of colour theory and colour pallet hierarchy.

I have been mentored in my jobs by ex-Disney 2D animators, and have learnt so much by working under them. Their knowledge and feedback has been invaluable to my skills and talents as an illustrator.I have worked professionally in Storyboard Pro and ToonBoom Harmony for the last 5 years and consider to be very fluent in these programs. I am also extremely proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. In all these programs I always push myself, and continue to actively learn new, faster, or better ways to work.

Throughout my career, I have worked under exceptional leaders, learning from their feedback and working collaboratively to achieve their vision. I have also had the opportunity to lead teams, motivating them to meet tight deadlines, improve their work, and deliver high quality projects. My experience has taught me the importance of clear communication, attention to detail, and dedication to the craft that I feel is a true asset to every company and project that I touch.

Work Terms

I'm a stay at home Dad working around my child's day. I can get work done in a small chunk in the middle of the day, but for larger projects will work at nights.

I offer professional rates for professional work. Revisions are welcome, however I kindly ask that they are limited to 3 rounds unless specifically agreed upon.
