Where client needs meet professional software.
I've been engineering software for the past fifteen years. All but the last four of those years have been as a contractor, so I've been exposed to every kind of business, environment, and team, and have developed almost every type of application, be it for private businesses, education, entertainment, government, healthcare, or individuals. Sometimes I've worked alone and other times as a part of a team (ranging from five members to fifty). I've served as a Lead Developer and led teams on more than one occasion, too. Because of the Internet's popularity, most of my experience resides with intranet and extranet applications, e.g. website applications.
I do what few can do truly well, which is work offsite. My success at that is a result of my ability to communicate and the passion I have for engineering software (which stopped being a career choice long ago and more became a religion). I suppose my business acumen has much to do with it, too. I am driven by trust and accountability, and in my heart burns a desire to constantly improve. I'm a firm believer one can never know enough, which keeps me up-to-date on the ever-changing and expanding world of technology.
Work Terms
Work terms and hours depend upon the client and contract. I maintain open lines of communication (email, phone, and SMS) with all clients.
