Senior Full Stack Developer and Consultant

I joined DMSBT in January 2008 as a key member of the solutions architecture and software development team. In January 2011 when Praxis BT acquired the business of DMSBT in Asia, I made the transition to work with the Asian business as its Lead Developer, working for several years remotely from Australia. Eventually I moved to Malaysia, becoming the CTO of Praxis BT and CTO/Director of the spin-off company Zinios. Over the last five years, I've been responsible for the development, management and delivery of products and projects for various state and federal government departments, telcos, banks and highly tech funded startups. I have also served as a technology advisor to the board of several organisations both in Australia and South East Asia. Over the years I have lead teams ranging in size from 2 to 40 heads, and controlled a network of partners and contractors, at times totalling in excess of 100. My primary focus is challenging conventional thinking to deliver greater technology products and services that enable the customers for which I am responsible to achieve excellence in their business.

Recently I have gravitated towards freelancing as it has enabled me to reach more customers, and include myself in more projects. Ultimately this has enabled me to continue to hone my skill set and keep up to date with emerging technologies.
