Web Design, Wordpress, Controls Engineering & Technical Services
Before I was a teenager, I spent every week saving my monthly allowance for two years, just so I could afford my first computer from Sears department store. I am very lucky to have gained an interest in software and hardware at a young age. Ever since then I've been tinkering with programming and hardware.
I am currently in my 30's and I've been a professional controls engineer for 10+ years. I have spent a lot of time developing user interfaces that operate and monitor machinery in the industrial world. My experience has included all aspects of the profession: specifying hardware, designing wiring diagrams, troubleshooting installations, writing the software that drives the equipment...you name it!
Aside from controls engineering, a hobby of mine is web design. I have used my creative eye to generate many web pages, personal and for businesses, for more than half of my life. I have now become proficient in harnessing the powers of the latest content management systems, Wordpress for example, to create modern, feature rich, responsive web pages that work on traditional computers and current mobile devices. I'm always learning and expanding my knowledge to keep up with the latest innovations.
I am also proud to say that I am an avid world traveler. I'm proud to have seen 50+ countries of the world and 30+ states in the USA. I've spent plenty of time traveling for both business and pleasure. I think I've gained a unique perspective of the world. I believe that my travels have improved my ability to get along with and have better understanding of the many diverse people and cultures that our world has to offer.
Today I am lucky enough to be able to translate these interests into a profession. I have the the drive to pull through for my clients and I know that my client's satisfaction comes first!
Work Terms
I only work hourly. I think it's most fair for the client and the freelancer. I'm pretty open to other terms!
