When You Want Results
A professional marketing consultant and copywriter since 2005, I possess a combined twenty years' experience in direct response marketing and copywriting. I create inbound marketing and sales copy for all types of media including websites, emails, social media, and direct mail. What's more, I'm a HubSpot-certified inbound marketing and content marketing professional.
In addition, I guest judge the annual W3 and Davey international awards for advertising and am an active member of the IAVA along with other notable members, such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Polo Ralph Lauren.
As an independent copywriter, I work closely with clients to write copy that builds brands, inspires action, and gets results. My copy has helped take emerging businesses to million dollar corporations and gained national exposure for my clients, including an 8-minute feature segment on Lifetime TV's morning talk show, The Balancing Act.
I'm also a two time international bestselling author. My creative works are archived by the Tennessee State Library, the University of Tennessee, and the National Library of Australia.
Work Terms
I want to make your project go as smoothly as possible for both of us. For that reason, you’ll find some general information about my policies and processes below. These are always flexible depending on the nature of the project, as well as your company’s needs and/or requirements.
-- I don’t have set office hours. The Internet never sleeps, and sometimes I don’t either if there’s work to be done. However, as a rule, I’m available by phone or email Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm Central time.
-- Writing copy requires focus. Focus requires eliminating as many interruptions as possible. For that reason, meetings or consultations must be scheduled in advance.
-- All information pertaining to the project must be in writing. This includes changes to the project scope, revisions to the copy, requests for more work, etc. It’s okay if we discuss these things by phone; however, it is not final until it’s in writing.
