The ghost writer who brings the Messenger and message alive
I am the ghost inside and behind the Messenger that brings the Messenger alive and let the Message have a powerful impact on those who receive it. This resonates so much with the coach in me, who disappears from the public view to behind the scenes where I co-create magic with the Messenger. This has always been my supreme strength, to be the invisible force behind successful people and projects.
My visible writing experience spans over more than 40 years, consisting of writing assignments for my three university degrees and a thesis for my MBA, articles I wrote for in-house company publications in Telkom South Africa, poems published by Poetry.com and two unpublished anthologies, 22 articles published on LinkedIn, and chapters 10 and 13 of Pieters M.A. (Editor). Textbook for Human Resource Practitioners. 1996. Pearson South Africa.
My first real ghost writing experience was in the late 1980's when I wrote the inaugural presidential speech and message (which was published AS IS in the IPM Journal), for my VP on his election as President of the Institute for Personnel Management (IPM) South Africa. The biggest part of my career has involved ghost writing in one form or another, consisting of writing policies, procedure guidelines, strategy documents, business plans, training manuals, facilitator guides, requests for proposal (RFPs), resumés and corporate communiques following successful negotiated outcomes with labor unions. My writing has been covering various topics and involved different levels of research and scientific rigor, as well as "easy" reading, although most of my writing has been in business, academic and professional contexts.
