Anthony Klinkert is an award-winning engineering leader. He assists companies with strategy, plans, designs, and deployments of the Internet of Things networks. He is an IBM-trained senior managing consultant and Open Group Certified Master Architect. His focus is on the Internet of Things communications networks, applied data science, and a particular focus on network topology mathematical optimization. He is a registered professional engineer, certified master architect, book author, public speaker, and advisor to IT CxOs in enterprises, government organizations, and entrepreneurial ventures. He currently is a freelance solution architect for IoT and data science projects. He applies current knowledge gained in his Engineering Doctorate (Ph.D. eq.), conferred May 2018. He has certification Training for the Internet of Things and Certification Training in Data Science – Talend, Tableau, R, & Azure machine learning. He is Founder, leader & public speaker of a local software entrepreneurship Meetup His wireless experience includes cellular RAN/BWA/DAS, microwave point to point, Wi-Fi, VSAT and land mobile radio. He has a BSEE from The University of Texas at Austin, an MSEE and an MS-Telecommunications Engineering from Southern Methodist University (SMU), and completed his Doctor of Engineering in Engineering Management in May 2018 from SMU in Dallas. His praxis focused on electric-utility smart-meter IoT network models and optimization. He lives in Plano (Dallas) Texas with his wife and two children.
