Self-made small business owner and web-developer. I know what quality, integrity and value really means; let me show you today what a true professional can do.
Coming from a background of customer service and marketing I've got a unique handle on what a truly successful website entails. I've got over 16 years of experience in website development and design ranging from small online-business cards for new graduates to intranet-design for fortune 500 companies.
I don't utilize Guru.com full-time, however am branching out to reach a broader audience desiring high-end custom website solutions for realistic prices. Please understand my Guru.com profile/history may be weak, however you can contact me for my full portfolio and work-history any time. This is only 1 small website.
The web-development scene has changed significantly over the past 6-12 months with all these cookie-cutter solutions, and every kid thinking Microsoft Paint is all they need to make a quality website. My knowledge of hand-coding, and good ole fashion work-ethic give me a huge competitive edge. Lets see if I can't just help you make some money!
My favorite projects are those who's owners have a solid idea, and the intelligence to move forward with a capable and reliable developer... Then once completed understand that having a 'guy' ready for marketing and long-term maintenance / growth is integral to a websites long-term success.
My unique skills and perspective on small business affords me the luxury of only accepting projects I truly believe in, and know I can excel at.
Work Terms
I work 8am-9pm(est) Mon-Sat, am reachable via Cell, Email, Skype or Guru-messaging for all clients.
I understand that a direct-line of communication is key for any successful project.
My billing requirements are simple. I ask for 25% of final project costs upon acceptance of terms and beginning of work, and the final 75% upon completion and sign-off of finalization. These terms are negotiable, and vary at times depending on scope of work.
I've developed a system over the past 16 years for rapid prototyping and seamless integration into development. I do not bill hourly simply because my system is efficient and I work at such a rapid pace I lose myself money.
If a project-owner does not respond within 72-96 hours I typically refund the initial 25% and move on, I am not one for waiting, or procrastination. If I'm not busy, I get bored. I do ask that all clients be prompt and understand that development is constant on their project. I do understand life happens, and often times business needs handled, so with good communication any lapses on your side can be overlooked and projects may be put on hold at YOUR discretion, I never put projects on hold or 'the back burner', it's not my style.
