I studied Drama at the Rose Bruford College, located in the South of London, UK. After my training I managed to find an agent. He found me a voiceover job. The BBC was looking for a French man to take part in the recording of voices for audio tapes - at the time, one still worked with tape! – in order to learn French. One had to be able to act. I was chosen. I met other French-speaking people – both French and Belgians – who were working in London on the same job.
I became aware that being a voiceover actor was a proper job, that one could earn a living taking part in recording sessions, that there was work for a French speaker who could act. Following this experience I recorded a demo. I hired a recording studio at the RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts), another Drama school which I attended. I worked with a sound engineer. We put together pieces of audio which enabled me to present my voice. I recorded television ads, I used existing ads, we added music and mixed it all. I sent my demo to agencies in England and gradually I started working.
Among my numerous references you will find commercials for Jaguar, Disney, Coca-Cola, Pizza Hut, General Electric, Calvin Klein, DHL, Hasbro, Ravensburger, etc.
