Freelance Medical Transcriptionist

During the week I work full-time for a private practice as my physician's lead medical assistant (certified) and I also transcribe all of his document/letters/office visit note dictations. I am proficient in medical terminology and have been working for physicians in medical offices since I was about 16 years old. English spelling, grammar, and proofreading is something I have always been very nit-picky about.

Our specialty requires Letters of Medical Necessity, clinical notes, clearance letters, letters to insurance companies, and patient notes all dictated and transcribed on a daily basis. With our practice growing extremely quickly, the physician hardly has time to write any of these and I am his right hand when it comes to generating these documents and getting them where they need to go efficiently without the physician needing to proofread or double check my work.

Work Terms

I will be offering my services in the evenings and on weekends when I am not at my day job. I do not currently have a set rate, as I am very open and willing to negotiate compensation. My preferred method of communication would be through email, but other contact info can be provided.
