I approach coding like digging a tunnel through a mountain. I take pride in lighting the way and smoothing the walls for those who come after me.
I am currently a research assistant focused mainly on python development. I have worked on several projects creating MRI data pipelines. I am currently finishing up a large automation and data organization program that I have written in python.
My past research experience involves the use of mathematical simulations in order to model semiconductor meta-materials. I have about 4 years of programming experience using various languages including MatLab, Python, LabVIEW, and the typesetting language LaTeX. I have experience with Linux, Windows, and OSX, and have assembled custom PC's as a hobby. My physics degree included lots of hands-on lab experience using advanced lab equipment. I am a quick learner and have had to pick up various technical skills on the fly in past jobs.
Work Terms
I have a very flexible schedule, and am also flexible about methods of communication, although I would prefer audio or video chat.
