Life's too short to edit yourself!
I have been a freelance writer, editor, and researcher for more than 15 years. In addition to teaching college students the wonders of grammar and research, I provide freelance services to a variety of clients, most frequently graduate students seeking to polish their dissertations and theses. I have also recently embarked on my own doctoral work in Education and Social Justice at Lancaster University (U.K.).
Outside of perfecting English grammar and mechanics for a living, I have extensive experience in both the nonprofit and higher education sectors. My areas of expertise include curriculum design (specifically assessment and evaluation writing), program management, and volunteer program development. In all of these fields, I have had the privilege of producing (or improving) high-quality materials, including web copy, how-to guides, and policies and procedures manuals.
