imagine the unimaginable

I returned to India in 2017 after being away for Thirty Six years. I worked as a teacher, an administrator, a cricket coach during the decades I worked in African continent; the most wonderful part of the world. Africa is so special to me. I worked in an impoverished Ethiopia enjoying relative comfort as an expatriate. I worked in one of the biggest schools in Ethiopia in 1981. It was the Gondar town, capital city of Gondar province. The school was Fasiledes Comprehensive Secondary School. It operated in three campuses, starting with a pre- school till Grade Twelve. The school worked in three shifts. Morning; from 8:00 a m to 12:15 p m; 12:45 p m to 17:00; and in the evening, from 18:00 to 20:00. There were over 9500 pupils in all three shifts together. They were from poor families. Classrooms were often crowded. There were no textbooks for them. I taught English; and curiously the syllabus only required me to teach Grammar. After that, I worked in Kenya. The longest I lived and worked in is South Africa. I would still love to go back there; the most beautiful place in the world. That is where I really got a chance to improve my education as a teacher. I finally became the Deputy Principal of a reputed high school from 2008 till my retirement in 2015 in the Eastern Cape Province of the country.
I have always been a reader and writer. I am sure that whoever hires my service shall always come back if that person needs a similar service another time. My motto is to imagine the unimaginable. I keep learning all the time and I believe that age is only a number.

Work Terms

i will avail myself in the evening hours as i am a late sleeper
From 18:00 to late night (beyond midnight).
During our day- time her, I will work in the morning hours; from 9:00 a m to 13:00.
