A licensed professional chemical engineer with a B.S. in chemical and an M.S. in metallurgical engineering. 19 years’ experience in industry and consulting working on a range of technological challenges, such as zero discharge; recycling waste water; process safety and risk management; developing environmentally friendly alloys; rare earth extraction process development; 3D design and rapid prototyping; carbon dioxide sequestration; biodiesel process development; PLC, HMI and custom controls software; and cosmetic formulations. Currently, the President/Owner of SAMSIM, which provides chemical engineering /software services. A strong commitment to sustainability has been demonstrated by leading projects which have improved the environment, health and safety of products and processes, while also providing millions of dollars in savings or earnings.
