I am what people consider a 'grammar Nazi' - I cannot abide seeing spelling and grammar mistakes, as I spot them without fail. Which makes me extremely capable of helping you edit your books or articles, or translate texts from and to either English or German.
I was born and raised in Germany, but have been married to a Canadian for 40 years, and speak and write English as well as any native born Canadian, and my spelling and grammar abilities are superior to those of most Canadians.
I am a Christian, and as a result would welcome opportunities to help with Christian publications as well as non-Christian ones, as long as they don't clash with my Christian values.
I volunteer at my church as the sound technician, which includes generating all visuals, mixing the sound, stage management, lighting, recording, editing and publishing the sermon, and teaching young people.
Another volunteer job is being a librarian at our local Christian school.
My hobbies include painting in both watercolour and acrylics, sewing, reading (mostly non-fiction), researching a variety of subjects online and spending time with my 24 grandchildren.

Work Terms

I am willing to put in whatever hours necessary to get the job done. I work from home only, but can skype when necessary for face-to-face interviews or instruction. My preferred mode of communication is by e-mail, but will talk on the phone if required. Just be warned that I have auditory processing disorder, and may have trouble understanding what you're saying, and have to ask you to repeat yourself. Hence my preference to e-mail.
