Fluent in English, Spanish and Portugues my life experience has given me a unique perspective on reality.
I was born in the Philippines. I have received my graduate degree in Anthropology and Latin American Studies at Vassar College, NY, USA. I have traveled, lived and studied in Latin American countries such as Bolivia, Argentina, Paraguay, Mexico and Chile. I have been living in Brasil for the past 15 years where I have worked in a study abroad program "Social Justice and Sustainable development" of SIT (School for International Training). During the past years I have been coordinating the Sustainability program in the region of Chapada Diamantina. I have been increasingly interested in working and writing about marginalized populations and environmental issues giving voice to segments of society and living beings that are unable to defend themselves.
